Yes. Scholarships follow those rules, the pay will too.


This is just shifting the responsibility to the student athlete to pay the scholarship rather than the athletic department doing it. The whole thing is not smart, but these athletes suing don't see value in the scholarships, so if they have to pay them, perhaps it helps them to see the value.
